Motherhood burnout
How to feel better when you’re stressed AF. For moms who are exhausted, moody, stressed, and hormonal and need help figuring out what to do.
/Mom Burnout/
(NOUN):
That feeling when you dedicate your entire self to the wellbeing of your children and family at the sacrifice of your own
Regularly experiencing symptoms like PMS, anxiety, mood swings, brain fog, constant sickness and lack of motivation
Living in a perpetual state of exhaustion
But aren’t we all burnt out?
Well, yes. But just because it’s common to feel like depleted, overwhelmed, and overscheduled roadkill after having kids… doesn’t mean it’s normal or ok. Even if your doctor can’t find anything “wrong.”
Side note: Society and our healthcare system don’t exactly set moms up for success straight outta the gate. Yes, the mental load and heavy expectations on mothers contribute to burnout. But so do hormonal imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, and other very real (and very treatable) issues happening in your body.
While I can’t fix the fact that you didn’t get paid maternity leave,
I can help you feel better now.

Meet the Expert
Hi! I’m Alison, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, mom of two, and burnout survivor.
Over the last 15 years, I’ve worked with hundreds of women one-on-one and through my programs, shining a light on what’s going on inside their bodies so that they can feel good again. As a new mom, I experienced the hormonal roller coaster of pregnancy to postpartum. Night sweats, exhaustion, brain fog, and molten lava mood swings, which led me to figure out what was going on with my own body - and then turn around to help all the moms.
As a more “seasoned” mom of bigger kids now (the adorable bald baby in this picture is now 9) - who is also in early perimenopause - I know that the hormone changes and depletion don’t stop after potty training. This workshop is for the moms in the room that are still feeling crappy even if they are years out from pregnancy.
I’m here to bust the myth that women have to crawl through motherhood. Mothers deserve to rise and thrive.
Are you in?
Psst:
it’s time to feel like you again.
FAQ’s

Good question. Real burnout (the kind that can’t be fixed with a girls’ night out) typically looks like a gradual build up of exhaustion, difficulty concentrating, impatience, overwhelm, frequent sickness, lack of motivation, intense PMS/mood swings, and insomnia over months or years.
Clinically, I see burnout patients often with low cortisol and depleted nutrients, and blood sugar levels going up and down like a rollercoaster.

If you’re experiencing any symptoms of burnout, this workshop is for you. While this class isn’t specific to perimenopause, I will also be talking about hormone changes in your 30s and 40s.

LOLZ no. Burnout is your body’s way of telling you that it’s been depleted for a long-ass time. Your hormones don’t rebalance on their own. And your nutrients don’t restock themselves. Burnout doesn’t self-correct, but it’s very much treatable.
And let’s be real, when will things finally “calm down”?
